X en una tarjeta GM965

Al instalar el portatil del profe Jereson, encontré que las X no funcionaban correctamente (parecían como configuradas como twinhead o xinerama, pero en un solo monitor). Al buscar:

Some GM965 systems,probe the TV as being connected even when no output connector is available. This results in the issue noted above.
